Taste a Glass of California at the Family Winemakers’ Tasting

August 06, 2018

Calling all oenophiles – don’t miss the annual Family Winemaker’s Tasting on August 26 at San Francisco’s Midway at 900 Marin Street. For one day only, you’ll have the opportunity to sample some of California’s finest, family-produced, and difficult-to-find wines. Family Winemakers of California is a group of small, award-winning, and family-owned wineries that create wines from California’s wine growing regions. Winemaking has become a proud family tradition with these wineries, and dozens of them will offer wines for the tasting. Sixty wineries will be participating in the tasting, and at least 40 different varietals or blends from many of the state’s most renowned appellations.

Ideal for the private collector, restaurateur, or retail shop, this is a once-a-year opportunity to sip, savor, and select. Participating wineries include Amizetta Estate Winery, Bella Grace Vineyards, Chateau Montelena Winery, Dancing Coyote Wines, Frog's Tooth Vineyards, Lava Cap Winery, Murder Ridge Winery, Petrified Forest Vineyards, Saddleback Cellars, Urban Legend Cellars, and Vino Noceto.
