Bay Area Brews Featured for Saint Patrick’s Day

March 05, 2018

Let’s face it; America is having a beer-mance with the craft brew. With over 5,000 breweries, the nation’s craft brew culture continues to grow and thrive, and there are hundreds of fine brews available. It can be difficult to choose from such a huge selection, so just in time for Saint Patty’s Day, we’re offering a recommendation for several of the Bay Area’s finest brews, culled from some of the industry’s most highly-regarded experts. These selections were published in TimeOut Magazine’s article, “The 25 Most Important American Craft Beers Ever Brewed.”

It’s no surprise that their top recommendations include Bay Area offerings, and seven regional brews made the cut. Anchor Brewing Company claims four of these, including its Liberty Ale, Anchor Steam, Anchor Porter, and Christmas Ale. Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale, New Albion Ale, and Russian River’s Pliny the Elder were also selected as top brews. So, get ready to unleash your inner leprechaun by sampling these, considered by experts to be the finest of the Bay Area’s local and regional brewers.
