Gear Up for the “Last Blast of Summer”

August 05, 2019

Come out and celebrate the end of the summer season in epic style at the Millbrae Art & Wine Festival in downtown Millbrae from August 21 – September 1. This “Last Blast of Summer” will be the 49th annual Labor Day weekend fest, with thousands of attendees perusing the stunning work of 250 of the country’s top artists and craft makers, grooving to a lineup of world-class music, munching on some of the most fabulous food, and imbibing celebrated brews, sangria, wines, and cocktails. The festival will also feature a cornhole game area, home and garden exhibits, the T-Mobile recharging station and showroom, and the “Classically Cool Car Show.”

Kids can look forward to loads of fun at Playland, and you’ll find everything artsy-craftsy you could want, including paintings, sculpture, glass, ceramics, textiles, metal, mixed media, home décor, beadwork, gold and silver jewelry, handbags, wallets, wind chimes, and much more from Team Pro Event. The music lineup includes such fab acts as Chicago the Tribute, The Flaming O’s, Busta-Groove, and Loudin’ Cleer, along with gifted street musicians Bob Culbertson, Stephen Dreyfuss, and EllaHarp. Also, be sure to catch the Streets Filled with Talent Community Stage for young local talent.
